I saw this sign out walking the other day. Am I just being cynical, or would it be near impossible to find a lost pet that can, you know, fly?
Lost: Bird, 7 cm tall, Does not respond to calls, Can fly
Worse yet, the picture is in black and white, taking away the primary signifier of birdness: color. And it has no name. And, again, it can fly. In summary, I don’t think Bird is coming home any time soon.
